Good Intentions
I set aside this morning to clean up the project corner in the office. (It's simply too embarrassing to show you a picture.) Rip or re-commit! Fall cleaning. Knitting Knotebook organization. I made a HUGE pot of coffee and checked my emails. And while I was at the computer, I figured I'd cruise by a few of my daily blog reads. I needed time for the caffeine to kick in, ya know. Look what I found over at Yarn Crawl. The perfect thing to allow for maximum caffeinated Ripping!
My 10 Names Meme
1. YOUR ROCK STAR NAME: ( pet and current street name) Sophia Highland
2. YOUR MOVIE STAR NAME: (grandfather/grandmother on your moms side, your favorite candy) Sunie Dark Chocolate but I'd change it to Blake Seas, using her middle name and one of my favorite brands. Otherwise I'd be scared of the types of movies I'd be in.
3. YOUR "FLY Guy/Girl" NAME: (first initial of last name, first three letters of your middle name)
S. Sue or M. Sue. Hmmm, neither sound very fly.
4. YOUR DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite color, favorite animal) Orange Dog. That was the name of my friend's puppy. How funny.
5. YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, city where you were born) Sue Newport News? Oh my, would need to change that one or I'd hate the parts I'd get.
6.
YOUR STAR WARS NAME: (the first 3 letters of your last name, first 2
letters of your first name, first 2 letters of mom's maiden name and
first 3 letters of the town you grew up in.)
Schphwomat. It sounds like a very strange animal.
7. SUPERHERO NAME: ("The", your favorite color, favorite drink) The Orange Jim Beam and Diet Coke or The Orange Vodka and Soda or The Orange Arnie Palmer or the The Orange Pinot Noir. Perhaps I should skip being a superhero?
8. NASCAR NAME: (the first name of both your grandfathers) Waverly George. And that would be the only time I've ever, ever thought of them together. Or even pictured them together. I am not sure that I ever saw them together. Perhaps one of them is rolling over right about now.
9. FUTURISTIC NAME: ( the name of your favorite perfume/cologne and the name of your favorite shoes) Vera Wang Ecco
10.WITNESS PROTECTION NAME: (mother/father's middle name ) Susan Ray. I am not sure I should have shared that with you. What if I have to go in the program? Actually if I had to rename myself I'd choose Autumn Blake. I'd be ABS, like brakes. My initials now aren't very flattering.
Well, that was quick. What else can I do? It's too early to really start working. It's raining so I don't want to walk the dogs. I've had too much caffeine to exercise without causing my heart to explode. Maybe I'll start swatching the Everyday Tweed sweater? Oh wait, must do some math. I think I'll see what else is out there on the knitting blogs.
Happy Knitting!

Love the comments about what kind of movies you'd be in - Sunie Dark Chocolate!

Just because Silky tweed calls for 22 stitches/inch doesn't mean it can't be knit at 20 stitches per inch. And I happen to think Orange Pinot Noir is a great super hero name.
